Brief Description
Postcard, used; black and white photograph of marble statue of Pan and bears. Inscription (type) on front: "6._ Musee du Luxembourg_ E. Fremiet._ Pan et Ours." Inscription (hand-written) on front: "On Way to Paris 1924 / These are some old friends of mine whom Dorothy now loves." On verso is a letter addressed to Ivan Stedman, arranging a Sunday social engagement in Paris; writer's signature is indecipherable. Stedman was a member of the Australian swim team for the 1924 Paris Olympic Games.
