Brief Description
Postcard, used; black and white photograph of Richmond Eve, Australian diver who took part in the 1924 Paris Olympic Games. Inscription (type) on front, upper left: "Richmond Cavell-Eve / Australie."; lower right: "A.N / PARIS". Inscription (hand-written) on verso: "'Dick' Eve Australia / Champion High Diver / of World. Paris / Olympiad 1924", and "(Nephew of the famous / Dick Cavell who introduced / the 'Crawl' stroke to Australia and then / to USA and the World)", and "'Dick' Eve / Manly NSW Club".
