Brief Description
A two-faced paperback publication, printed in French and English on one side, and Persian on the other side. The Persian cover features the emblem of the National Olympic Committee of Iran, comprising of the Olympic rings emblem mounted by a golden lion passant guardant with a sword in its raised paw, rising sun behind it and an Imperial crown above. French/English cover features the emblem design for the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games, comprising of a flaming torch mounted upon the location of Melbourne on a map of Australia. The header page, printed in French, translates as: "Official Bulletin / of the / Secretariat-General of the N.O.C.I. / on the occasion of / the celebration of the 10th anniversary / of the / National Olympic Committee of Iran / Tehran 1st May 1956".
