Brief Description
A hardcover book with dust jacket, featuring colour and black and white sport photo images published in the Soviet sports magazine "Ogonjok". Images of local, national, and international meets, and of leisure sports featuring Soviet men, women, and children, over the history of the Soviet Union feature in this compilation. The title on the cover and spine reads, (Russian, transliteration): "OGONJOK" NAD/STADIONOM (Eng. literal trans. "Ogonjok" over the Stadium'). "Ogonjok" literally means "little flame". Printed wholly in Russian.
