Brief Description

A 12-page (unnumbered) grey hard cover book, entitled: OPERATIONS. One of an 8-volume boxed set entitled: 1996 OLYMPIC GAMES MELBOURNE. This collective document was the prospectus sent to the I.O.C. by the Olympics for Melbourne Committee, in order to promote its candidacy for becoming host city for the 1996 Olympic Games. This volume was compiled by the Melbourne Bid Committee Operations Commission chairman, Russell Withers, the Security Commission chairman, Derek Deighton, and, the Transport Commission chairman, Norman Walker.
