Brief Description

A 24-page (unnumbered) grey hard cover book, entitled: SPORTS EVENTS/FACILITIES. One of an 8-volume boxed set entitled: 1996 OLYMPIC GAMES MELBOURNE. This collective document was the prospectus sent to the I.O.C. by the Olympics for Melbourne Committee, in order to promote its candidacy for becoming host city for the 1996 Olympic Games. This volume was compiled under the direction of the chairman of the Melbourne Bid Committee's Sports Events Commission, Bill Hoffman, and, the chairman of the Sports Facilities Commission, Dr. Don Cordner.
