Brief Description
A red-stained hickory wood javelin, with a chrome plated steel head, which is partially painted red. White cord grip at centre. Painted red, white, and blue striped band between the grip and the head. Manufacturer's mark towards lower end of javelin. Javelin used during the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games.
