Brief Description
A padded red and white vinyl covered pictorial book, covered in a clear plastic jacket. Centre of cover features a metallic attachment, in the shape of the Olympic Bell emblem of the 1936 Berlin Games, with the inscription: ICH RUFE DIE JUGEND DER WELT! (English trans: I Call to the Youth of the World!). Title page reads: ZUR ERINNERUNG AN DIE/XI. OLYMPIADE/BERLIN 1936 (English trans.: In Commemoration of the XIth Olympiad, Berlin 1936). Features black and white photo images of Berlin Olympic venues, German landmarks, and scenic destinations. Book is kept in a grey cardboard presentation folder. This copy was acquired by Australian boxer, Leslie Harley, during competition at the 1936 Games.
