Brief Description
A burgundy coloured hard-cover book, with the image of a hand holding up a flaming torch on the front cover. Title page reads: THE OLYMPIC/GAMES/MELBOURNE 1956. The book features black and white, and colour photo images taken during the length of the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games, and together with text, written in diary form, the story of the 1956 Games is told from Day One to Day Fifteen.
