Shield, wood with silver plaques attached; features primary plaque in centre with inscription: "VICTORIA'S / MOST OUTSTANDING BOXER / 1948-49 / WON BY / MICKEY TOLLIS"; banner-style plaque across top: "SYD SHERRIN MEMORIAL"; plaque at bottom: "Presented by / MR A. H. HUGHES / (VICT.)"; two identical smaller plaques at left and right, featuring embossed images of two boxers during a bout.
