Brief Description
Glass negative with an image of the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The viewpoint is from the east, looking at ground level over the pitch towards the Grey Smith Stand, with the third Members' Pavilion (built in 1928) on the right. A game of cricket is being played, and there are some spectators in the stands, though most of the Concrete Stand on the left and the upper tier of the Members' Stand are empty.
