A 40-page book bound in blue card. Title: METEOROLOGICAL SUMMARY/COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA/BUREAU OF METEOROLOGY/XVITH. OLYMPIAD/MELBOURNE WEATHER/50 YEARS OF RECORD./DISCUSSION AND/DIARY. The report essentially contains information regarding the weather of every Olympic Games date (22 November to 08 December) in Melbourne for the last 50 years (1906-1955). This is done to gauge how the weather will be in Melbourne for those given dates when the 1956 Olympic Games occur.
