Brief Description
An 80-page booklet, published in October 1956, containing all relevant information associated with the upcoming 1956 Melbourne Olympics. It includes maps of Melbourne and the Olympic Village, diagrams of course layouts for certain events, illustrations or photos of venues, descriptions of events, Olympic records, flags of Olympic nations, a history of the Olympics, etc... Inscription on the front cover reads: 'OLYMPIC/GAMES/MINI-DIARY'. Below is the 1956 Olympics logo, and below that is the Bank of New South Wales coat-of-arms and name.
