Brief Description
A circular, silver, boxing medal won by Les Harley. The medal features six State Shields, a central scroll with text 'HONOR/CUI/ DEBENDO', and text around the border 'AMATEUR BOXING AND WRESTLING UNION OF AUSTRALIA'. The reverse is stamped 'AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS' and a raised scroll is engraved 'HEAVYWEIGHT BOXING/ WON BY/ L. HARLEY/ HOBART/ 1937'. Medal is stored in a very dark blue presentation case, with a blue velveteen lined recess for placement of the medal.
