Brief Description
Australian Olympic team blazer worn by Peter Antonie at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games. Antonie won the gold medal in the men's double sculls at these Games. The blazer is olive green and single-breasted with an embroidered crest on the upper left pocket. There are slotted pockets on each side. Two gold-coloured metal buttons with green enamelled border and Australian coat of arms in the centre are sewn on the front, and three are on each cuff. A pin badge featuring the Olympic rings surmounted by the Australian coat of arms is attached to the left lapel. The embroidery on the outer breast pocket features the Australian coat of arms overlaying five bands of colour with the Olympic rings below and the text "Barcelona / 1992" stitched beneath.
