Brief Description
Trade card issued by Hoadley's Chocolates in 1934 as part of a series titled "LEAGUE FOOTBALLERS". The obverse has a full-length colour image of Gordon Coventry (Collingwood) wearing a short-sleeved black and white striped jersey, in a kicking position. On the reverse is printed an issue number (48), the footballer's name, club, a brief biography, a "Safety Council Warning", and an advert for Hoadley's Chocolates.
