Brief Description
Head and shoulders portrait photograph of Charles Kingsford-Smith, in flying cap, with a cigarette between his lips. A handwritten inscription on the reverse reads 'I met "Smithy" in Brisbane/ in 1932, when he was lecturing/ on his overseas flights./ He asked me to be one of/ his "presenters" - 6 of us/ as a "warm up" of the/ audiences. Thought this may be/ interesting contrast of the/ flying kit of later/ years'.
