Brief Description
Original cartoon, titled, "Field Positions", by Peter Nicholson. Cartoon drawn with pen and ink or watercolour paint, housed in a card mount. The drawing shows a game backyard cricket being played by two youngsters. The garden is cluttered with various implements which have all been labelled as fielding positions, for instance the dustbin is "KEEPER", a garden gnome is "SILLY MID-OFF", and a deck chair is "SECOND SLIP". The drawing is signed l.r., and dated centre.
