Original cartoon by Peter Nicholson drawn with pen and ink or watercolour paint, housed in a card mount. The drawing shows a flooded paddock, with a weatherboard building in the background, and cows stranded on a patch of dry land to the right. On another patch of dry land, five figures are playing cricket, using a cow's rump as the wicket. The drawing is signed and dated in the lower-right corner.
