Brief Description
Royal blue autograph book. Cover features text, in gold: 'Autographs'. International Olympians' autographs are featured within, signed during the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. Since the compiler lived in Ballarat, the majority, if not all, of the signatures come from rowing and canoeing athletes. These Olympic events were held at Lake Wendouree, Ballarat. Paper cut-out flags have been pasted onto a number of pages to signify the country of origin of the signatories on each page. Eighteen tiny cut-out flags remain loose, but contained within book. Compiler's details feature on the inside of the front cover.
