Brief Description
Unused sheet of writing paper with the letterhead of the Government Whip, of the Australian Federal Government House of Representatives. The sheet of paper was found in a writing case owned by Hubert Opperman (cyclist). Opperman was the elected House of Representatives Member for Corio, for 17 years, and was the Government Whip for a time under Prime Minister, Robert Menzies. He became a minister of a number of portfolios, and later, High Commissioner to Malta.
