Brief Description
Photograph album; folio size, black textured cover with "Photographs" inscribed on lower right corner, black pages. Each page contains up to nine black and white photographs on each side, each photograph fixed by adhesive strip on verso; handwritten inscriptions in white on pages referring to each photograph. Photos were taken during diving competitions, skiing and horse riding trips, and the Herald Learn to Swim Campaign. Many photographs appear to have handwritten inscriptions on verso. Photographs include images of other well known swimmers and divers of the time. Loose - seven photographs and one berthing slip for the Tasmanian Steamer "Nairana", dated 1924. Last 36 pages empty.
