Brief Description
Dark blue blazer with three external pockets. Embroidery on the breast pocket in white of a "V" and two rifles crossed beneath it. A moron, white and blue ribbon lines the top edge of the pocket. There are two blue buttons on the front and a buttonhole in the left lapel. Two internal pockets and three labels. One label is attached a pocket and reads "ALL WOOL FABRIC / by / Onkaparinga". The other two makers labels are attached to the inside of the neck. Maker David Lack Pty. Ltd. with one label ink handwriting " P. Pavey / 1976". Tattersall's sweep ticket and train ticket were found in the blazer pockets. Orange coloured gambling/Tattersall's ticket. Small red image of a man wearing a hat in the upper left corner. Printed text reads in part "TATTERSALL / SWEEP / CONSULTATION, c/o Geo. Adams / 244 Flinders Street..." Blue handwritten on lower half of ticket and on reverse. Small square train ticket. Printed red and black text on both sides. Text reads in part "OFF PEAK TICKET / DAY RETURN / MELBOURNE / TO / OAKLEIGH..." Red stripe across the top edge on both sides.
