Brief Description
Photograph album with images featuring the voyage to Berlin and scenes of the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games. The cover is beige textured paper covered cardboard with a brown and gold tassel fastening and at the top left is the Olympic symbol of five overlapping rings in blue, yellow, brown, green and red. The album contains various photographs of the Australian Team at the Olympic Village, at the reception at the Berlin Town Hall, in parts of Berlin and Potsdam and in Paris. Olympian athletes also featured include Basil Dickinson (a signed photograph) in casual clothes throwing a discus; and the Philippines Olympic Team. Inscription at front, "XI Olympiade/ Berlin 1936".
