JOHNSON / Melbourne'. On the reverse is printed inside a decorative border on a white background 'VICTORIAN FOOTBALLERS', the card number 'No. 73', the player's name, team, and 'League', followed by a short playing biography; at the bottom is a Hoadley's Violet Nut Bars advertisement; and at bottom 'A series of 100 / League and Association.' The card is one of a series of 100 featuring players from both the VFL and VFA and was issued with Hoadleys products in 1933.
