Brief Description
Black and white photograph of the ocean liner, RMS Otranto. Signed by the Australian XI Cricket Team 1926. The Orient Line R.M.S. 'OTRANTO' was a 20,000 gross ton ship, length 192,63m x beam 22,91m, two funnels, two masts, twin screw and a speed of 18 knots. Above the ships funnels, in the skyline are 18 signatures featuring the members of the Australian Cricket Team 1926 including Grimmett, Ponsford, Mailey, Oldfield, Bardsley, Taylor, Collins, Ryder, Pope, Richardson, Andrews, Hendry, Ellis, Everett and Woodfull. The remaining signatures are unclear.
