Brief Description
Original Robert Ingpen watercolour depicting Australian Rules footballer, Bob Pratt (1912-2001). The artist's image number - 65 - and subject's name and club are handwritten below the design, with a pencilled date '1934'. A sheet of tracing paper, with grid lines and references, folds over the artwork which is signed and dated by the artist. The image is included in a tapestry celebrating 150 years of performances and events on the MCG. Pratt played 158 games for South Melbourne (1930-39 and 1946) kicking 681 goals including a record 150 goals in 1934 (equalled in 1971 by Peter Hudson).
