Original Robert Ingpen watercolour featuring of an image of England fast bowler, Harold Larwood (1904 - 1995), and an umpire, Fanny Walden. The artist's image number - 61 - and subject's name and country, are handwritten below the design, with the pencilled dates '1926-33'. A sheet of tracing paper, with grid lines and references, folds over the artwork which is signed and dated by the artist. The image is included in a tapestry celebrating 150 years of performances and events on the MCG. In 21 Tests, Larwood took 78 wickets at an average of 28.35 runs per wicket. During the 1932/33 England tour of Australia - the 'Bodyline series' - Larwood captured 33 wickets at 19.51, and scored a fighting 98 runs as nightwatchman in the Sydney Test.
