A sheet of tracing paper, with grid lines and references, folds over the artwork which is signed and dated by the artist. 'Woofa' Davis - also known as 'the Geelong Flyer' - played 189 games and kicked 149 goals for Geelong Football Club (1948-58) . A Best & Fairest winner, Victorian State player, and All-Australian, Davis captained Geelong from 1955 to 1958, and coached the club to a Premiership in 1963.
