Robert Ingpen's original design of an image of Australian Rules footballer, Peter Hudson. The artist's original image number - 130 - and subject's name and club, are handwritten below the design, with the pencilled name of Geelong player, 'John Scarlett', also depicted in the image. A sheet of tracing paper, with grid lines and references, folds over the artwork which is signed and dated by the artist. Hudson played 129 games and kicked 727 goals for Hawthorn Football Club, at the extraordinary average of 5.59 goals per game. In the 1971 Grand Final at the MCG, Hudson kicked his 150th goal of the season, equalling Bob Pratt's record from 1934.
