Robert Ingpen's original design of an image of Australian fast bowler, Ray Lindwall (1921-1996). The artist's original image number - 93 - and subject's name and country, are handwritten below the design. A sheet of tracing paper, with grid lines and references, folds over the artwork which is signed and dated by the artist. The image is included in a tapestry celebrating 150 years of performances and events on the MCG. In 61 Tests between 1946 and 1960, Lindwall took 228 wickets at an average of 23.03. In 1996, he was an inaugural inductee into the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame.
