Brief Description
Robert Ingpen's original design of an image of Australian fast bowler, Jeff Thomson. The artist's original image number - 135 - and name of the subject and country are handwritten below the design. A sheet of tracing paper, with grid lines and references, folds over the artwork which is signed and dated by the artist. The image is included in a tapestry celebrating 150 years of performances and events on the MCG. In 51 Tests (1972-1985), Thomson took 200 wickets at an average of 28.00.
