Brief Description
Robert Ingpen's original design of an image of Australian fast bowler, Graham Douglas "Garth" McKenzie. The artist's original image number - 123 - and name of the subject and country are handwritten below the design, with the pencilled years '1961-71'. A sheet of tracing paper, with grid references, folds over the artwork which is signed and dated by the artist. The image is included in a tapestry celebrating 150 years of performances and events on the MCG. In 60 Tests, McKenzie captured 246 wickets at 29.78 - including 8 for 71 at the MCG against the West Indies in December 1968.
