Brief Description
Robert Ingpen's original design of an image of West Indian batsman, Clive Lloyd. The artist's original image number (154) and subject's name and team are handwritten below the design. A sheet of tracing paper, with grid lines and references, folds over the artwork which has been signed and dated by the artist. The image is included in a tapestry celebrating 150 years of performances and events on the Melbourne Cricket Ground. In 110 Tests between 1966/67 and 1985, Lloyd scored 7,515 runs for the West Indies - including 19 centuries - at an average of 46.67.
