Brief Description
Robert Ingpen's original design of an image of Australian Rules footballer, Kevin Bartlett. The artist's original image number - 143 - and subject's name are handwritten below the design, with the pencilled date '1980'. A sheet of tracing paper, with grid references, folds over the artwork which has been signed and dated by the artist. The image is included in a tapestry celebrating 150 years of performances and events on the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Bartlett kicked 778 goals during 403 games for the Richmond Football Club between 1965 and 1983.
