Brief Description
Black and white photograph depicting scene of a grandstand under construction viewed from an upper level of the grandstand beside it. Concrete foundations and a crane can be seen. Printed label affixed to reverse reads, in part, "Early construction work on the new stand at the Melbourne / Cricket Ground...". Photographer's purple stamp on reverse.
