Brief Description
Black and white photograph depicting scene of an area under construction. A cleared area is having new foundations laid for the new stand. A section of the old grandstand can be seen in the background. Printed label affixed to reverse reads, in part 'The Main Stadium for the 1956 Olympic Games...'. Photographer's purple stamp on reverse.
