Robert Ingpen's original design of an image of Monty Noble (1873-1940), Australian Test cricket all-rounder, included in a tapestry celebrating 150 years of performances and events on the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The artist's original image number - 29 - and subject's name are handwritten below the design. A sheet of tracing paper, with the grid lines and references for the layout of the tapestry, folds over the artwork which is signed and dated by the artist.
