Brief Description
Lithograph mounted in a black wooden frame depicting full length portrait of a cricketer wearing all white with a white hat, blue bow tie and blue belt. Printed inscription below image reads 'WISDEN. / Born at Brighton.' Inscription also reads l.l. 'Sketches at Lords No. 6' ; l.r., John C. Anderson del et hth.' and centre below title 'London Published by John Corbet Anderson, 40 Church Road de Beauvoir Square, Kingsland March 1st 1852 / and F. Lillywhite 10 Princes Terrace, Caledonian Road, Islington'.
