Brief Description
Informal group portrait of the Melbourne Football Club on tour to Tasmania in 1950. The photograph shows a large group of figures standing in front of a bus which is parked outside a building with the sign "HADLEY'S" on its porch. The picture is mounted behind card, with a handwritten inscription that reads (above), "MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB / Tasmanian Football Tour. 1950", (and below) "With smiling faces and pleasant memories we left Hobart / July 30th at 9:30 a.m. for St Helens and Launceston". On verso photograph is stamped with MCCM property stamp.
