Brief Description
Square piece of cotton printed with an image of the English cricket team that toured Australia in 1864. The item has a border composed of bats, pads, balls and pavilions. At each corner is a marquee labelled, "LILLYWHITE'S SCORING TENT". The central image has full-length portraits of the 1864 team standing in a row wearing striped and dotted shirts, hats and caps, and some carrying bats. The names of each figure are printed underneath, and above is the title, "ALL-ENGLAND TWELVE - SECOND EXPEDITION TO AUSTRALIA". The item is mounted on fabric and loosely housed behind card.
