Thank you for providing additional information about this object, we are always keen to learn more about our collection, and improve our data. Following further research, it was determined that this shirt was indeed made for the men's soccer team at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, not the men's hockey team. We have updated our catalogue with this correction.

I believe this jersey would have actually been made for our men's soccer team at the Athens 2004 Olympics - both teams wore the same design, but the soccer team wore sleeved jerseys (https://m.psecn.photoshelter.com/img-get/I0000qPTscmlqkWE/s/860/860/John-Aloisi-AUS.jpg), where as the hockey team wore sleeveless jerseys (https://i.pinimg.com/originals/7c/f2/c9/7cf2c9da32b142a3441aca62437b269b.jpg) - jersey appears to be a player issue spare.
