Brief Description
A satchel/ briefcase type bag, used by Maurie Gibb, MCC Ground Manager as cash taking bag. Made from brown leather and lined with green checked fabric. Features one central compartment and an outer side pocket with zip. Supported by two leather handles which are badly worn and have been taped with black plastic tape. In the outer side pocket is an MCC stamped envelope with handwritten text in blue pen, "This is the property of the Melbourne Cricket Club / 26 Jolimont Terrace / Jolimont. July 1961".
