Brief Description
Photograph of two cricketers: one - in batting attire and an Australian cap - raising his bat; the second - a Pakistani player - in a moment of contemplation. An associated MCC exhibition label reads, "Greg Chappell acknowledges the crowd at the / Sydney Cricket Ground during his innings of / 182 against Pakistan, 1984. Chappell retired after this Test match with a Test average of / 53.86". A pencilled inscription on the reverse of the photo reads, "SCG JAN '84 / 7000 RUNS".
