Brief Description
White envelope. Colour images on front. Left side has a man wearing his cricketing uniform in a batting pose. He stands in front of a green stripe and a large red cricket ball. Text reads in part "CENTENARY / OF THE / ASHES / 1982...." In the upper right corner is a postage stamp of the Ashes obituary as printed in the Sporting Times and a colour reproduction of the Ashes urn. Handwritten in blue ink are the signatures of 4 people, 1 is unidentifiable. Over the lower right and left corners of the postage stamp is a black rubber stamp. Small grey pencil cross in the lower left corner. Reverse has a brief synopsis of the history of the "Ashes".
