Brief Description
White envelope, unused, colour image printed on front left of a rising sun behind cricket wickets. Printed text above reads 'SUMMER SOLSTICE / CRICKET MATCH / THE GENTLEMEN OF HEXMAN / VERSUS / ROYAL MAIL, HEXHAM' and includes the colour emblem of each team. Stamp affixed to top right corner of Queen Elizabeth II bears text that reads 'FORTIETH / ANNIVERSARY / OF THE ACCESSION'. Postmark below shows a batsman in top hat and reads 'SUMMER SOLSTICE CRICKET MATCH HEXHAM / NORTHUMBERLAND / 19 JUN 92'. On reverse is stamp that reads 'LIMITED EDITION / NUMBER 225 OF 500'.
