Brief Description
Thin cardboard ticket, off-white with grey, orange and black printing. Image of Olympic rings and torch with printed text that reads, in part, 'WEST MELBOURNE STADIUM / XVI OLYMPIAD, MELBOURNE....'. In the bottom left-hand corner is the seat designation 'N 35' and the date 'Dec. 6 1956'. Ticket has been ripped along a perforation down the right-hand side. Top corner features a map of Australia and a gymnast on parallel bars. A floor plan of the stadium seating is printed on the reverse.
