Brief Description
Decorative envelope produced as part of a series recording matches between England and Pakistan during the 1992 tour. On the left side is a roundel with a colour emblem showing a set of stumps with a cricket ball and the crossed flags of England and Pakistan. Under the stumps is a banner that reads "2nd CORNHILL TEST MATCH / LORD'S GROUND". A postmark recording the date of the match with an image of 'Old Father Time' is in the top-right, next to a stamp (value 24 pence), with a picture of a cavalier and “THE CIVIL WAR 1642-51 / fought between the forces of KING / & PARLIAMENT: Pikeman” printed beneath.
