Brief Description
Decorative envelope produced as part of a series recording matches between England and Pakistan during the 1992 tour. On the left side is a roundel with a colour emblem showing a set of stumps with a cricket ball and the crossed flags of England and Pakistan. Under the stumps is a banner that reads "TRADITIONAL OPENING MATCH / LAVINIA, DUCHESS OF NORFOLK'S XI ARUNDEL". A postmark recording the date of the match is in the top-right, next to a stamp (value 24 pence), with a picture of a flag and “OLYMPICS ’92 BARCELONA” printed beneath.
