Brief Description
Typed letter in grey (typewriter ribbon) ink on white paper, dated in September and October, 1886. The letter is in three parts: the top is a request to the Town Clerk of the Borough of Essendon by George Groute, requesting permission for occupancy of the land they play cricket on; the second is from the E. Dangerfield, Town Clerk, passing the message on, and the third, from J.A. LEVEY, recommends permissive occupancy at a nominal rent of £1 per year.
